QUETTA: The administration and health officer of Quetta district and people’s primary healthcare initiative have established rapid reaction teams to fight coronavirus.

Eight mobile teams (ambulances), 12 teams at basic health units will work in three shifts round the clock. Four teams on motorcycles will also be active in areas where vehicles cannot go.

Anybody who feels symptoms of corona should call 1122 round the clock.

The rapid reaction team or basic health unit will either clear the person after examination or ask him to get isolated at his home and take his lab test. If the individual does not have a place to isolate, he/she will be taken to an isolation centre. If the person tested positive, he/she will be taken to Shaikh Zayed Hospital.
