Prime Minister Imran Khan in a telephone call with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan offered condolences on Turkish deaths because of Covid-19.

The premier also assured Erdogan of Pakistan's "abiding support and solidarity with Turkey, including in Turkey’s efforts to combat the pandemic", according to a statement.

The two leaders agreed that Pakistan and Turkey must work together and reinforce each other’s efforts in the fight against coronavirus, the statement added.
