Planning minister Asad Umar says there is a need to bring back Pakistani nationals still stranded in other countries but stressed that the government wants to "ensure that a system is in place to not import Covid-19 from abroad when they arrive".
He said so far, flights that have brought back Pakistanis from abroad have only landed at Islamabad airport. The government is now planning to use other airports as well, he added.
