Wonder Woman 1984 now to release in August

Warner Bros. has announced it is delaying the theatrical release of Wonder Woman 1984 — starring Gal Gadot — from June 5 to August 14 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“When we green-lit WW 1984, it was with every intention to be viewed on the big screen and are excited to announce that Warner Bros. Pictures will be bringing the film to theatres on August 14th,” Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group chairman Toby Emmerich said in a statement. “We hope the world will be in a safer and healthier place by then.”

Trolls World Tour, brighter, louder, wilder!

DreamWorks Animation’s 2016 hit feature Trolls told a sweet, warm and fuzzy heartfelt tale full of catchy pop tunes that left audiences hungry for more. So director Walt Dohrn has come up with its sequel, Trolls World Tour, which arrives April 10.

“It was always like, okay, there’s gotta be more characters, more new worlds, and — I think because music was such a positive experience in the first film — we said there’s gotta be more music,” says Dohrn, who co-directed the first CG-animated outing.

Trolls World Tour delivers all of that and more, telling a story in which the newly crowned Queen Poppy (Anna Kendrick) discovers that hers is one of six tribes of Trolls, and each is dedicated to a different genre of music: pop, country, techno, classical, funk and rock. The movie introduces characters voiced by music icons Ozzy Osbourne, Anderson, George Clinton, Gwen Stefani, the K-pop group Red Velvet and many more.

Onward to arrive on Disney+

Disney announced that its recently released Pixar animated film, Onward, will also be coming to the Disney+ streaming service in April.

Onward is also now available for digital download. This is a quick digital release for the film which hit theatres recently.

Onward follows brothers Ian (Holland) and Barley (Pratt), as they embark on a magical quest after a mysterious staff helps bring back the legs of their late father. The duo race against the clock in order to fully bring their dad back before the spell wears off.
