DERA MURAD JAMALI: An area of Balochistan’s Dera Allahyar town was sealed off after four people tested positive for coronavirus this week.

According to Nasirabad division’s commissioner Abdul Razzaq Khajjak, the four patients are under treatment at a hospital in Karachi.

“We have sealed the area in Dera Allahyar town of Jaffarabad district from where these cases were reported,” the commissioner said.

The authorities screened all members of the four persons’ immediate families and 11 of them showed some symptoms of the virus. Preparations were being made to send these 11 individuals — two men and nine women — to a hospital in Quetta for further tests.
