KARACHI: Lotte Che­m­­­ical Pakistan on Thu­rs­day posted 1QCY20 profit after tax (PAT) at Rs58 million, translating into ear­­nings per share at Rs0.04.

The earnings slumped 95pc from Rs1.29 billion and EPS at Rs0.85 during corresponding quarter of the previous year. Net sales of the company dec­re­­ased 27pc to Rs11.7bn for the latest quarter, from Rs16.1bn.

KE elects Edrees new chairman

K-Electric board of directors on Thursday elected Riyadh S. A. A. Edrees as the new chairperson, the company said in a press release.

Edrees has 25 years of experience in construction, finance, oil and gas, telecommunication and academic sectors. He holds BSc and MSc degrees in Chemical Engineering.
