JHANG: Two boys slipped into Jhelum river and allegedly drowned on Tuesday.
Aftab, 10; Danish, 11; Farhan, 10; and Zeeshan, 9, all residents of Garhi Fatahullah village, were returning home along with around 10 other people after harvesting wheat crop across Jhelum. While crossing the river, they suddenly slipped and fell into the deep end.
Zeeshan and Farhan drowned, while Aftab and Danish were saved by locals accompanying them.
