TAXILA: Two women and a man were murdered in two separate ‘honour’ killings in Attock on Wednesday.

A man shot and killed his wife and another man in Ratwal village in the limits of the Fatehjang police on Wednesday.

Police quoted family sources as saying that the suspect had married the victim six months ago and believed his wife was in a relationship with another man from the same village.

On Wednesday, he found them together in his house and shot and killed them, police said. He then fled the crime scene.

Separately, a man allegedly killed his ex-wife in the Chowngi 7 area of Attock city on Wednesday.

Police sources said the suspect attacked the victim, who was 35 years old, with a knife after forcing his way into her home. He fled the crime scene after injuring her.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where she died. Police quoted the relatives of the victim as saying that she had been renting a home after her divorce. The police have registered separate cases regarding both incidents.
