HARIPUR: A married woman allegedly committed suicide over a family dispute in a remote village of Serae Nehmat Khan union council, police said here on Thursday.

According to Sadar police, Parveen Bibi, 32, had an altercation with her husband Mohammad Nazir over quarrel of their children. She later went to her room and consumed insecticide.

When her condition worsened her family took her to Haripur Trauma Centre where the doctors washed her stomach, but she did not survive.
