GUJRANWALA: The Cantonment police registered a case against 10 suspects on Friday for stripping a youth and torturing him in DC Colony Market.

According to reports, Hussain Hanif and Umair Goraya quarrelled with each other during a football match in a ground a week back. Other players intercepted and resolved the issue. But Goraya had nurtured a grudge against Hanif. On Friday, Hanif went to DC Colony Market.

As he stopped his car in front of a pizza shop, 10 suspects, led by Goraya, reached there in an SUV and a car. They allegedly broke the mirrors of Hanif’s car, pulled him out, stripped him naked and beat him with clubs. One of the suspects, Umairul Hassan, made the video of the beating. The suspects resorted to aerial fining and fled.

The locals shifted Hussain to a clinic. The Cantt police registered a case against Umair Goraya, Umair Cheema, Haider Cheema, Umairul Hassan, Gohar Cheema, Hamayon Cheema and four unidentified persons.
