Covid-19 infects three more journalists

PESHAWAR: Three more journalists tested positive for novel coronavirus here on Friday, raising the number of infected media persons to six in Peshawar.

Of the three fresh cases, two belong to a television channel and one to a local newspaper.

Following their tests results were communicated to them, the journalists isolated themselves at their own houses and are taking precautionary measures.

All the three had been covering Covid-19 outbreak for their respective organisations. Two are camerapersons of a TV channel and the third one is a reporter of a newspaper.

Three days ago, two journalist brothers, Aif Shehzad and Wajid Shehzad, were diagnosed with Covid-19. Their two other brothers have also tested positive for the virus.

A cameraperson of a TV channel, Shehzad Kazmi, had also tested positive for the virus.
