The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is establishing three quarantine centres at Taftan, Chaman and Torkham border crossings, Radio Pakistan reported.

According to the authority's spokesperson, a quarantine centre with 600 beds is being established at Taftan while the facilities at Chaman and Torkham will have 300 rooms each.

The official added that the quarantine centre at Torkham has been completed and handed over the local administration while the remaining two will be completed soon.
