Fifteen police officials, including a station house officer (SHO), were tested for the coronavirus in Hyderabad after a suspect had tested positive for the respiratory illness, police said.

"The suspect was being kept at a jail ward located outside the central prison. He was arrested for selling mainpuri a few days ago," Sakhir Pir police station SHO Imran Rasheed said.

The suspect had tested positive on Friday, he said, adding that the police officials' test results are expected on Monday.
