KARACHI: The management of two superstores in Clifton closed their outlets after a few staff members tested positive for Covid-19.

The administration of district South had asked the superstore managements to shut their outlets to disinfect them and carry out tests of the rest of the employees. Deputy Commissioner-South Irshad Sodhar told Dawn that the local administration did not seal the Agha’s and Paradise superstores.

He clarified that the district administration as per the standard operating procedures had advised them to keep the stores closed till the shops were properly disinfected and all remaining staff tested negative.
