THE recent announcement by the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) to conduct special examinations to fill the leftover posts of the Civil Superior Services has perplexed many aspirants.
The questions bothering the aspirants are: whether the top posting groups like PAS, PSP, FSP, etc., are also included in these examinations; if a candidate appears in the special examinations, will the attempt be counted or not by the FPSC? Will there still be reserved seats for uniformed personnel? Whether the candidates who are not allocated a post be compensated in other departments.
The candidates would like to know whether it would not have been better to add these seats to the CSS 2021 examinations to lessen the ratio of unallocated candidates, rather than taking separate examinations.
The authorities concerned should address these queries so that aspirants’ confusion is removed.
