Two Covid-19 patients at Hyderabad's Liaquat University Hospital (LUH) have been discharged after recovering from the disease during the last two days. Both the patients were administered convalescent plasma therapy.

The first patient was shifted from the Covid-19 high dependency unit (HDU) to the intensive care unit on May 14 due to co-morbidities, according to LUH focal person for Covid-19 Dr Aftab Hussain Phull. "He was discharged on May 19."

He added that the second patient, a 62-year-old woman, was discharged from the HDU on Tuesday after recovering from the disease.
