PML-N leader and spokeswoman Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan needs to come out of "arguments on smart lockdown, elite lockdown and curfew".

In a statement, she said: "Imran Khan should not put the blame for his own incapability and inefficiency on the coronavirus pandemic. [Imran Khan's] attempt to hide his own confusion by talking about lockdown in different sectors could prove dangerous for the country."

She criticised the premier for his response to the pandemic, saying that his "denial of the virus was proving dangerous for the nation and the country".
