The Peshawar deputy commissioner has imposed smart lockdown in two more localities of the city where Covid-19 cases have been rapidly rising, ordering controlled entry and exit into and from the areas.
Starting tomorrow, all shops and businesses, except essential services, will remain closed in Peshawar's Defence Officers Colony and Gulberg area. All gatherings will be banned and congregations in mosques will be limited to five people.
Meanwhile, the district administration has lifted similar restrictions previously imposed in four neighbourhoods — Ashrafia Colony, University Town sub area, Danishabad and Sector E/2, Phase I, Hayatabad.
