KARACHI: The S M Law College team won the Law Students Cricket League title here on Monday. They beat Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Law University by four wickets.

The winning team of S M Law College received a cash prize of Rs 50,000 jointly from Justice Helpline and Sindh Sorts Department. The prize was presented to the winning team captain by chief guest Adnan Ahmed, Senior Vice President of Supreme Court Bar Association.

Adnan lauded the SM Law College team for their fine performance and emphasised the importance of both physical and mental fitness for people to contribute well in the society.

Advocate Nadeem Shaikh of Justice Helpline, who has been the key figure in organising the league, also spoke on the occasion and said that very soon both cricket and hockey law associations will be formed to hold regular tournaments across Pakistan.
