QUETTA: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has termed reconstruction and rehabilitation of the Quaid-i-Azam Residency excellent.
Soon after his arrival in Ziarat on Wednesday, Mr Buzdar took round of different sections of the residency and showed keen interest in the items displayed in the building which had remained in use of the Quaid-i-Azam.
The provincial ministers, tribal elders and senior government officials warmly welcomed the Punjab chief minister on his arrival in Ziarat.
Mr Buzdar assured cooperation on behalf of his government for the upkeep of Ziarat Residency, which was bombed by miscreants a few years ago. The Punjab chief minister met tribal leaders and elders of the area.
Mr Buzdar assured them that he would make all efforts to resolve their problems with the help of the Balochistan government.
The Punjab government would establish a community centre in Taftan and a hospital in Turbat at a cost of Rs750 million, he said, adding that Punjab House in Gwadar and a technical college in Kharan would also be set up soon.
