Sixteen employees of the federal ombudsperson’s regional office in Hyderabad have tested positive for the coronavirus during random sampling.
The sampling was carried out at the request of Saghar Zaidi, regional director of the ombudsperson’s office.
A total of 26 samples were collected yesterday and of them, 16 staff members including Zaidi tested positive, according to Kohsar Government Hospital Latifabad medical superintendent Dr Suresh Kumar.
The tests of four other people at the office also returned positive who were either Hesco employees or visitors.
