DERA GHAZI KHAN: Chief Minister Usman Buzdar says the conspiracies (against his government) will again be foiled and the journey of development will continue as the PTI government in Punjab is continuously in contact with the people regarding development projects.

Expressing a resolve to go to every city of the province to resolve the public problems, he says engaging with the common man helps one understand the ground realities and he is in constant contact with the people.

“I belong to the people and, even my life is available for service to humanity,” Mr Buzdar asserted while speaking to the citizens and assembly members at the Circuit House here on Friday.

“Funds for south Punjab will not be used for any other purpose and this money will be spent on the public welfare.”

The CM regretted that development of the south Punjab was badly ignored in the past but the PTI government had given rights to the region for the first time.

“South Punjab will be made a role model for development,” he announced.

The CM announced that provision of potable water to the DG Khan division was his priority and special funds had been allocated to improving health and educational facilities.

He declared making resources available for repair and maintenance of roads in the division without tolerating any corruption by the officials.

CM Buzdar planted a sapling at the Circuit House to launch a tree planting drive and prayed for its success.

Adviser Hanif Pitafi, MPA Dr Shaheena Najeeb Khosa, ACS (South), the commissioner and the DG Khan RPO were present.

MULTAN: Chairing a meeting, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar announced the beginning of a new phase of development for the Multan division with allocation of special funds.

“The locals will not have to go to Lahore due to the establishment of the South Punjab Secretariat,” he claimed.

The CM said unjustified distribution of development funds had been stopped and development of backward areas was being given particular attention.

He issued directions for action against hoarders, profiteers and criminals.

The ACS (South), additional IG (South), commissioner Multan and others attended the meeting.
