SWABI: A man killed his brother in Chota Lahor tehsil when he opened fire on him inside their house on Wednesday.

Officials at Tordher police station said that Mohammad Zubair and his brother Mohammad Shoaib, residents of Tordeher village, abused each other when they clashed over domestic issues. In the meanwhile, Zubair allegedly opened fire with a pistol and killed Shoaib on the spot.

Later, a police party chased and arrested him in Bado Baba region and recovered a pistol from him.

Meanwhile, the police recovered body of an unidentified person from Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway area on Wednesday. Also in the day, two children were seriously injured when a van hit them as they were crossing the road at Shewa Adda in Razaar tehsil on Wednesday.

The injured children were taken to Civil Hospital, Kalu Khan, from where they were shifted to the district headquarters hospital, Mardan, in serious condition. An FIR has been registered against the van driver.
