LAHORE: The Punjab finance department has created 96 posts of various categories in the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) and 51 posts in police office for South Punjab Secretariat through SNE for the financial year 2020-21.

As per the approval of the competent authority, the finance department created 96 posts of various categories in the S&GAD for the establishment of Punjab Civil Secretariat (South) at a total cost of Rs599.998 million through technical supplementary grant on temporary basis for the financial year 2020-21 against equal surrenders from block allocation of Rs1.5 billion kept for “Establishment of secretariat in South Punjab

The 96 posts include one post of ACS of BS-21, one post of secretary of BS-20, two posts of BS-18, six posts of BS-17, two posts of BS-16.

Similarly, the finance department created 51 posts of various categories for the establishment of South Punjab Police Office at a total cost of Rs119.313 million through technical supplementary grant on temporary basis for the financial year 2020-21 against equal surrenders from block allocation of Rs1.5 billion kept for “Establishment of secretariat in South Punjab The 51 posts include one post of DIG of BS-21, three posts of SSP/AIG of BS-19, one post of SP/ (DD/SP) of BS-18 and two posts of BS-17.
