SIALKOT: The Muradpur Police Station has become the second model police station in the district after the Sialkot Cantt Police Station after getting international standard ISO 9001, 2015, the international certificate for quality management system.

District Police Officer (DPO) Mustansar Feroze told the media that it was a matter of pride that Sialkot’s two police stations were now ISO 9001 certified.

The DPO claimed, “an international standard organisation has awarded this ISO 9001, 2015 certificates to Sialkot’s two police stations for enforcement of laws, prevention, detection and investigation into crimes, responding to emergencies and providing support services to maintain public order as well”.

The DPO said efforts were under way to convert Sialkot city’s all the nine police stations into the model police stations within next six months for ensuring easy and early justice to the oppressed.

There are 27 police stations in the district.

Gujranwala Regional Police Officer (RPO) Region Riaz Nazir Gara visited ISO certified model police stations.
