Jinnah College students top HSSC exam results

PESHAWAR: The students of the Jinnah College for Women, the University of Peshawar, got the top three positions as the educational boards across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa declared results of the higher secondary school certificate examinations on Tuesday.

Maryam Nadeem clinched the overall top position, securing 1,054 marks out of 1,100. Mahnoor Saleem and Fatima of the same college shared the second position, obtaining 1,035 marks each, while Ishmal Johar bagged 1,025 marks, standing third. All the position holders are from the pre-medical group.

All of the students were declared successful as the examinations could not be held due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The evaluation was made on the basis of the previous results of the students.

The pre-engineering group was topped by Akbar Khanzada of Islamia College Peshawar, with 1,017 marks. In humanities group, Mohammad Umair of Islamia College Peshawar clinched the top position by securing 970 marks.

In general science group, Khizar Ali Shah of Islamia College, Peshawar, got 980 marks to clinch top position.

Meanwhile, female students bagged top three positions in the HSSC examinations results announced by the Abbottabad board.

Noorul Harram of Peace Group of Colleges, Abbottabad, got first position by securing 1043 marks. Omiya Jadoon of Tamer-i-Wattan Public School & College, Abbottabad, with 1,021 marks got second position and Haleema Siddique of Bright Vision Model School & College, Haripur, with 1,015 marks got third position.

Noorul Harram and Haleema Siddique got the first and second position in the pre-medical group. Alyshba Khan of Pease Group of Colleges got third position by obtaining 1,013 marks.

In pre-engineering group, the top three positions were shared by female students of Tameer-i-Wattan Public School & College.

Meanwhile, Ammar Haider, a student of Cadet College, Kohat, topped the HSSC examinations results announced by the Kohat board with 1,033 marks. Mohammad Saheeer of Garrison Cadet College got second position with 1,025 marks. Mohammad Saddam Gohar of Cadet College Kohat, and Ahmed Nauman of Garrison Cadet College shared the third position by claiming 1,023 marks.

In the general science group, Syed Muneeb Gilani of Karwane Ammal College, Kohat, clinched first position with 968 marks.

Meanwhile, Osaid Ahmad of Karnal Sher Khan Cadet College, Swabi topped the HSSC examination results announced by the Mardan education board, obtaining 1,041 marks. Mohammad Haris with 1,035 marks stood second, and Shehryar Niazi stood third with 1,031marks.

All the top position holders belonged to Karnal Sher Khan Cadet College, Swabi, and were from pre-engineering group.

In pre-medical group, Aniuqa Saeed of Punjab Group of Colleges, stood first with 1,027 marks, Inayatullah of Tufail Shaheed Army College, Mardan, obtained second position with 1,023 marks and Iqra Saeed of the Peshawar Model School and College got third position with 1,021 marks.
