LAHORE: The PPP has objected to the NAB’s accusation of Chief Minister Usman Buzdar in a liquor licence case.

PPP parliamentary leader in Punjab Assembly Syed Hassan Murtaza has said the NAB is trying to prove Buzdar as a “liquor seller” instead of holding him accountable for alleged mega corruption and misuse of authority.

“Usman Buzdar is a puppet and the most corrupt chief minister, but levelling the allegation of selling alcohol against him is condemnable.”

The PPP leader wondered that instead of holding Buzdar accountable for sugar mills subsidy and “missing” wheat, the NAB was trying to try the CM on frivolous charges.
