KARAK: A number of private educational institutions were sealed for violating the government directive that schools and colleges will remain closed till Sept 15.

The administrations of the private educational institutions reopened the schools from August 15.

On the directives of the provincial government, assistant commissioners of the three tehsils paid visits to different educational institutions, which had been opened on the call of the Private Education Network, and sealed dozens of them.

They directed the owners of the educational institutions to honour the government instructions. They also warned the owners of facing huge fines if they again opened the schools.

However, when the news of the officials’ visit spread the owners of educational institutions operating in remote areas closed them down.
