SWABI: Police recovered body of an unidentified man from fields in Zarobi region on Friday, said officials.

The police collected the body, which was mutilated, after they were informed by local people. The name and identity of the deceased, cause of the incident and alleged killers were not known yet. The body was placed in the police station for identification.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Kamran, Hazrat Nabi and Aamir Khan were injured when two motorcycles collided on Swabi-Jehangira road on Friday.

Officials of Rescue 1122 said that they reached the site soon after the accident and shifted the injured to Bacha Khan Hospital Complex, Shahmansor.

ARRESTED: Police here have arrested a fake faith healer for blackmailing people, especially women, and minting money from them.

According to details, DPO Imran Shahid had received a complaint about a fake faith healer who was collecting money from the people and assuring them that their problems would be resolved.

A complaint was made by a woman, Bano Bibi, who alleged that Sher Ghani of Marghuz village had taken Rs30,000 from her and assured her that her domestic problems would stand resolved soon.

Later, he was not attending her call. The police registered a case against him and have started investigation.

POLICE STATION: The construction of tehsil city police station’s building, which is near completion, would cost Rs70 million, sources in C&W department said on Friday.

They said the new building would have all modern facilities for the security personnel and detainees. It is situated on Topi-Tarbela road in Topi city.
