MULTAN: The National Accountability Bureau has asked Bahawalpur deputy commissioner to provide details of the properties owned by 20 people, including former provincial food minister Samiullah Chaudhry and his family members.

In a letter to the DC dated Aug 7, NAB Multan Additional Director (staff) Syed Rizwan Hussain Shah stated that the property details of the said persons were required in connection with complaint verification process by the bureau.

The letter added that the information was also requisitioned through a letter earlier on July 24 which was still awaited and causing inordinate delay in the cases.

“It is therefore once again requested to provide details of all immovable properties and businesses recorded/registered in the names or changed from the names of individuals properties mentioned in the list enclosed in your territorial jurisdiction,” the letter stated.

Besides Mr Chaudhry, the names of his mother, sister, wife, daughter, two sons – Hamood Bin Sami, Hammas Bin Sami – his brother Khalid Miraj his wife, daughter and others are also included in the list.
