DERA GHAZI KHAN: The Bewata Border Military Police (BMP) foiled an attempt to smuggle Iranian fuel filled in gas containers through fake documents.

Officials at the BMP checkpost in the Punjab-Balochistan border area of Bewata discovered petrol filled in gas containers during checking.

BMP Commandant Hamza Salik told Dawn the officials seized Iranian petrol worth Rs12 million and also impounded two gas containers in which the fuel was being allegedly smuggled to Punjab from Balochistan.
