RAWALPINDI: Deputy Commissioner retired Capt Anwarul Haq visited Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital and the land record centre in Gujar Khan to review facilities being provided to citizens.

He inspected all departments of the hospital. THQ Medical Superintendent Dr Sarmad Kayani and child specialist Dr Mohammad Amir gave a detailed briefing to Mr Haq about the hospital.

He said there should be no negligence in the provision of sanitation and medicines in the hospitals. After reviewing the stock of medicines and their registration, he expressed satisfaction and directed the hospital’s management to strictly implement SOPs for prevention of coronavirus and spread awareness among citizens in this regard.

He also asked the management to come up with a proposal for more medical equipmentand said it was essential for it to be in good condition for continuous provision of facilities to citizens in government hospitals.

Later, he visited the land record centre, where Gujar Khan’s assistant commissioner gave him a detailed briefing about facilities.
