LAHORE: A retired constable was killed and his wife, daughter and worker injured in Shera Kot on Sunday.

Police claimed that retired constable Ijaz was engaged in a land dispute with his brother, Naeem, for some time. Naeem along with 10 accomplices went to Ijaz’s house on Sunday where the two got into a heated argument and Naeem opened fire on his brother and family.

Ijaz, his wife Shabana, daughter Arooj and a worker Hamza suffered bullet wounds and were taken to a nearby hospital where Ijaz died and the condition of the remaining was critical.

Shera Kot police shifted the body to a morgue and registered a case.
