KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Ehsan Mani and CEO Wasim Khan will meet Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday to brief him on all recent cricketing matters and also will get approval from him on the PCB new broadcast deal with Pakistan Television.

Reliable sources told Dawn News that PCB’s top officials have prepared a groundbreaking broadcast deal for Pakistan’s international matches in Pakistan and also for relaying domestic cricket and will announce the details this week after the PM approval.

Sources further said that both that Mani and Wasim will brief the PM on Pakistan’s recent tour to England and about the future home assignments as well as the arrangement being made for the SOPs to counter the Covid-19 threat.

As per the sources, PCB Misbah-ul-Haq will continue as chief selector and his dual role and there is no truth in the rumours taking rounds about the Board planning to replace the former skipper.
