SUKKUR: Declaring the ‘Dolphin Riverview’ project as illegal, the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) Sukkur has got it sealed and issued notice to the builder directing to stop booking of flats and offices.

The project was proposed for high-rise building/plaza for residential, commercial/offices purpose at the locality of Arafat Mosque on Bandar Road, Sukkur.

According to details, the proposed site comprising of more than 2,000 square yards is the property of Evacuee Trust Board (ETB) rented out by the ETB on low rate to different people.

In Sukkur a trend has started that to make quick bucks, people demolish old buildings of the ETB and replace them with high-rise structures and plazas.

According to information, the builder has now decided to get passed the sketch of the plaza from the SBCA to restart work.
