Playing target games is always exciting and there are a number of such games. However, it is even more exciting to make one at home and play with your siblings or friends, and even challenge your parents.
Today’s DIY is a point a score game, which you can easily make at home with most of the items readily available to you! You can even make this for your friends as a present.
Things you need:
Cardboard piece (you can open any cardboard carton, the bigger the cardboard piece the more targets you can make).
Paper cups, according to the targets you want to make, I have made 7.
Scissors
Glue stick
Marker
Some colourful scraps of paper to decorate the cardboard.
Balls to play
Directions:
Cut the cardboard piece in any shape, it could be round, square, and rectangle or just like the one I made in “T” shape.
Cut any colours of strips to be pasted on the boundary of the cardboard, pictures 2 and 3.
Decorating the cardboard depends upon you, I have used paper circles, and to make the circles I have used bottle caps, see picture 4.
Paste cups at the sides and centre of the cardboard, pictures 5 and 6.
Decorate it, picture 7.
Score numbers also depend on you; you can write ‘10’, ‘20’, 30, or in hundreds, see picture 8.
Paste the score numbers on top of each cup, picture 9. (Shuffle all the score numbers throughout the cardboard, making it difficult to score).
You can either hang the cardboard or place it on the floor; you will need string loops if you want to hang it.
To make the string loops, make two-inched loop from string and paste it on back of the cardboard, picture 10 and 11.
The point a score game is ready, the game will be more fun if you use bouncy balls.
