Mardan beat Badrashi

PESHAWAR, Sept 23: Mardan stunned Badrashi Club, Nowshera 3-2 in a thrilling match of the NWFP Nowshera Cup football at Farooq A Sheikh Stadium on Friday. Badrashi grabbed lead in the 13th minute through right winger Jan Muhammad on a field attempt.

Niamat Khan doubled it in the 23rd minute.

But Mardan’s centre-striker Fayyaz Ali Shah rushed to reduce the margin in the 33rd minute, and then levelled the score in the second-half on a field attempt.

A few minutes later, Jehanzeb Khan netted a goal to give Mardan a 3-2 win.—APP
