Recreation of The Adventures of Superman 1940s radio serial

Daniel Dae Kim will lead an all-star cast in a recreation of the original The Adventures of Superman radio serial during the second instalment of DC FanDome, Warner Bros. announced.

The one-hour production, using original scripts recently found in Warner Bros. Archives, is being held in support of The Creative Coalition, a Hollywood non-profit that aims to address entertainment industry issues as well as urgent social issues.

Airing from 1940-1951, The Adventures of Superman was notable for introducing several core concepts which have since become core elements of the Superman mythology.

Short film on Frozen’s Olaf

What happened to Olaf in between his creation during Elsa’s “Let It Go” moment and his “warm hugs” introduction to Anna and Kristoff in the first Frozen? These “untold origins” are now the subject of a new animated short coming to the Disney+ this October.

Josh Gad returns to voice the snowman in Once Upon a Snowman, to be released on October 23, where he “comes to life and searches for his identity in the snowy mountains outside Arendelle,” according to a press release.

“This is an idea that started to form when I was an animator on the first Frozen,” Correy said in a statement. “Dan Abraham and I are so grateful and excited to have had the opportunity to direct this short, working with our incredible colleagues at Walt Disney Animation Studios.”
