KARACHI: The United States embassy in Islamabad has announced resumption student visa services at its embassy in Islamabad and consulate general in Karachi from Oct 1.

“Student visas are a top priority for the US Mission in Pakistan and we will make every effort to assist student visa applicants as timely and safely as possible,” said a statement issued by the embassy on Monday evening.

The statement said that processing of applications for other visa categories would be resumed as soon as possible.

Student visa applicants have been advised to visit http://cdn.ustraveldocs.com/in/in-niv-expeditedappointment.asp to determine if they qualify for an emergency appointment.
