TAXILA: Two people died and three others were injured in different incidents in various parts of Attock on Thursday.

The driver of a trailer, Wahab Khan, died while two others were critically injured when their vehicle overturned at the exit of Burhan - Hazara Motorway in the jurisdiction of Hassanabdal Police Station. Police and rescue sources said the 22-wheeled trailer hit a pole on the side of the road. The injured were shifted to Pims Islamabad due to their critical condition.

Furthermore, one person was killed and another was injured after two rival groups attacked each other over a land dispute in Marri village in the jurisdiction of Attock Saddar Police Station.

The deceased, Malik Sajjad Khan was the former nazim’s brother and an official at the revenue department. The injured was identified as Bashrat Khan.

Respective police have registered two separate cases and started further investigation.
