KASUR: Gunmen struck 11 times on Tuesday in various localities of Kasur.

In the first strike, 12 gunmen stormed into the house of Muhammad Nisar at village Olakh Bonga in Phoolnagar and took away Rs100,000 and two tolas of gold ornaments. Later, they broke into the neighbouring house of Muhammad Nadir and collected gold ornaments and Rs200,000. The gang then struck the next house and deprived Zeshan’s family of Rs70,000 and two mobile phones.

Separately, three gunmen intercepted farmer Muhammad Sabir near village Kotli Rai Abu Bakar in Sheikhum and deprived him of Rs70,000 and escaped.

Two gunmen deprived Salma Bibi of her one tola gold ornaments and Rs7,000 near Faisal Colony in Pattoki.

Three unidentified robbers looted gold and Rs1.2 million from the family of Muhammad Shahid at Khalil Town locality in Pattoki. Outlaws held Muhammad Ahmed near Century Paper Mills on Multan Road in the limits of Pattoki police station and deprived him of his motorcycle, cash and phone.

In another robbery, three robbers intercepted a rickshaw driver Abdul Ghaffar near village Dhuday Road in Allahabad and deprived him of his phone and Rs25,000.

Gunmen took away a motorcyclist and Rs70,000 from Riasat Ali in Allahabad.

Separately, four robbers in village Dhing Shah in Khudian looted a man of Rs6,000 and fled. In village Qadiwind in Kasur, four robbers looted Rs40,000 from Saifullah and escaped.

The police are looking into the matter.
