HYDERABAD: Activists of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf staged a protest demonstration against PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif for his diatribe against the security establishment at a public meeting in Gujranwala organised by the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).

The protest was led by PTI leader Dr Mustansir Billa and others.

He said that Mr Sharif was a corrupt man and had looted national wealth.

He said today Imran Khan was holding all corrupt accountable without any discrimination. He said that all “thieves” had united on the platform of PDM now. He said that PDM’s public meeting in Gujranwala was a flop show.

He condemned Mr Sharif for speaking against the army chief and said that people of this country were with their national institutions.

The PTI leader said that Mr Sharif had left for the United Kingdom on the pretext of his ailment and he would be brought back and put in jail by the incumbent government.

He demanded that a strict action be taken against Mr Sharif.

Meanwhile, former district president of the PTI Ali Hingoro has approached the Cantonment police station for registration of a sedition case against the former prime minister Sharif in view of his speech in the PDM public meeting. However, the police declined to lodge an FIR.

Meanwhile, PTI MNA Nusrat Wahid has said that the her party will never impress over the opposition’s movement and the government will complete its five-year tenure, adds PPI.

She said there was no chance of a mid-term election, but if the opposition resigned, by-elections would be held on vacant seats.
