Islam, she said, had assigned to woman a very important role in the creation of a healthy society and to create an honest and just society, the women could not remain aloof from the country’s politics. Women must participate fully, and exercise their political rights and duties.

She said it was fortunate that both Quaid-i-Azam and Quaid-i Millat had ... supported the movement for equal political rights for Pakistani women, and a struggle had not to be carried on to get the right to vote... . — Agency
