LAHORE: The inspector general of police (IGP) on Friday transferred and posted 14 police officers, including nine district police officers (DPOs).

According to a notification, Rajanpur DPO Ahsan Saifullah has been transferred and posted as new SSP Operations Lahore against an existing vacancy.

Rahim Yar Khan DPO Muntazar Mehdi has been transferred and posted as Punjab Motor Transport SP vice Asad Sarfraz Khan who has been transferred and posted as DPO Rahim Yar Khan. Narowal DPO Zulfiqar Ahmad has been transferred and posted as Sargodha DPO vice Faisal Gulzar who has been transferred and posted as Rajanpur DPO, retired Capt Waheed Mahmood has been posted as Narowal DPO vice Zulfiqar Ahmad.

Bhakkar DPO retired Capt Muhammad Ali Zia has been transferred and posted as AIG of police (development) at Central Police Office vice Rana Tahir Rehman who has been transferred and posted as Bhakkar DPO vice Capt retired Muhammad Ali Zia.

Syed Karamat Ali has been posted as AIG Discipline at the CPO against an existing vacancy.

Aftab Ahmad Phulwarwan has been posted as Punjab Special Branch Survey SP against an existing vacancy.

IGP Punjab Personal Staff Officer Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera has been transferred and posted as Bahawalpur DPO vice Sohaib Ashraf who has been posted as new PSO to the IG Punjab.

Punjab Chief Minister office security SP Mohammad Abdullah Lak has been transferred and posted as Okara SP Investigation vice Shamsul Haq who has been posted as Lahore Civil Lines SP investigation against an existing vacancy.
