KARACHI: Bahria Club and Splash Club beat their respective rivals in the ongoing Inverex Basketball Trophy here at the Arambagh-Abdul Nasir courts on Sunday night.

In the first match, Bahria Club outplayed Arambagh Club 63-22 with Mohsin Gujjar shinig for the winners with 20 points. He was well supported by Moiz Ateeq (13 pts), Bilal Khan (12 pts) and Owais Khan (11 pts).

For the losing side, the main scorers were Hasan Ali and Shariq Suleman with 10 points each.

In the second match, Splash Club edged past Usman Club 45-38 in a thrilling game. Taimur Zaheer (13 pts), Azhar (10 pts), Syed Waseem (10 pts) were the leading scorers for the winners while for the losing side, Hasan Iqbal and Faizan Yousuf scored 10 points each and Hamza Perwani scored 9 points.
