MARDAN: Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria Ms Alexandrina Guigova on Tuesday vowed to take measures to strengthen relations between the business communities of Pakistan and Bulgaria.

She stated this during a visit to the Mardan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where she met with the chamber’s president Zahir Shah Khan and other office-bearers as well as members of the business community.

Speaking on the occasion, she expressed her happiness to have visited Mardan district and met the local traders and businessmen.

She assured the representatives of the business community that she would send recommendations to the relevant officials of her country to take immediate steps for strengthening business activities between the two countries.

For this purpose, she promised that they would sign MoUs to not only arrange business-to-business meetings but also to boost trade relations between the two countries.

Zahir Shah Khan presented a shield and traditional Shawl to the Bulgarian ambassador.
