TOBA TEK SINGH: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf MNA Riaz Fatyana has contracted the Covid-19.

A health department official said symptoms of the Covid-19 had appeared in Fatyana two days ago. A doctors’ team had obtained his swab samples and sent them to the laboratory of the Allied Hospital Faisalabad for test. The laboratory confirmed on Saturday that that the PTI leader had been infected with the virus.

The official added that Fatyana was being kept in isolation at his home and his health was stable.

Meanwhile, more than 60 suspected Covid-19 patients had been admitted to special wards of the DHQ and THQ hospitals of the district. Of them, eleven were diagnosed with the Covid-19 and they were getting treatment in the DHQ Hospital’s isolation ward.
