KARACHI: Eagle Sports and Burma Muhammadan won their respective football semi-finals to reach the final of the Korangi Sports FEstival football competition on Monday.

In the first semi-final, he Eagle Sports defeated its rival Shahbaz Football Club by 3-1 to reach the final.

The winning club’s Ahmed scored two goals and Shahbaz scored one goal while for the runner up club, Ghaffar scored the only goal.

In the second semi-final, Burma Muhammadan edged Colony Sports by 2-1 in a thrilling contest to qualify for the final..

Hammad of Burma Mohammadan played brilliantly and scored both the goals while Rehan Babu of Colony Sports managed to score one goal.

Muhammad Asif, Ishaq Usman, Ibrahim and Adnan were the referees in matches while Muhammad Khalid was the match Commissioner.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, Shah Faisal teams won the cricket and shooting ball events in Korangi Sports Festival..

In the cricket final, the Shah Faisal White became the champion while the Ghazi Sports Shah Faisal Colony emerged as the shootingball champion.

In the final of the cricket tournament, Shah Faisal Whites defeated their opponent Shah Faisal Green by just three runs after a tough competition to win the title.

In the shootingball final played at the Shah Faisal Sports Complex, Ghazi Sports beat Wahid Sports 16-13 and 16-14.

In the final match, Wasim Abbas, Rizwan Ahmed, Muhammad Hasnain, Muhammad Shamim and Abdullah played brilliantly.

Match referees were Muhammad Ismail, Abdul Rahim and Muhammad Asim.
