LAHORE: Barry’s and Samba Bank registered easy victories in the Happy Cow Polo for Peace II Pakistan Polo Cup 2020 opening day matches here at Lahore Polo Club ground on Tuesday.

Eight-goal blazing by Emesto Trotz inspired Barry’s topple AOS by a big margin of 11-5 1/2. The remaining goal for the winning side came from Hamza Mawaz Khan (2) and Ibrahim Barry added one goal.

For the losing side, which had half goal on handicap, Hamza Ali Hakeem (3) and Zubair Butt and Guy Gibrat hit in one goal apiece.

On Wednesday, three matches will be played with Samba Bank will play against Pricemeter.Pk at 1:00 pm while Remounts will vie against Colony team at 2:00 pm and in the last Diamond Paints/FG Polo will compete against D Polo at 3:00 pm.
