ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Hamid Israr Gul caused a major upset in General Tyre ITF J5 Junior Tennis Championship when he beat third seed Nepal’s Aryan Giri in straight sets here at the PTF Tennis Complex on Tuesday.

Abdullah, an upcoming player, also exhibited fine game, beating Aoi Ooka of (Japan) in another fine match of the day.

Top seed Mohammad Shoaib Khan from Pakistan was in an excellent form as he outclassed his opponent Aarav Samrat Hada of (Nepal) by playing excellent tennis, and thus maintained his supremacy. Boys singles, Girls singles and Boys doubles are being played in the event.
